Absolutely not recommended. Having made a reservation for 7 people at 9 pm, we arrived 5 minutes late. The owner informed us that he had "sold" the table and therefore forced us to go inside, even though we had reserved a table on the terrace. The extremely unpleasant owner told us he was at home and rudely asked us to wait.

Excellent local cuisine; we ate chippiros, Basque black pudding, turbot, and fresh fish, even for the children. A lovely upstairs terrace, a super friendly welcome—we loved our lunch today!

Visiting Bidart once or twice a year, this was our first time discovering the restaurant Le Cucaracha. After being approached by the manager (thinking it was closed), we went in despite it being open and thoroughly enjoyed the à la carte menu. It was sublime, especially the dessert made with apple, walnuts, caramelized fruit, whipped cream, and sheep's milk curd: simply the best! Thank you, we'll be back.

30/08/2026: A superb stopover, and we were lucky enough to get a table at the last minute. All the dishes were excellent and generous, the view was superb, and the terrace overlooking the view was lovely. A wonderful discovery.
29/08/2026: Beautiful view, delicious food at a great price! The vegetarian options (1 starter and 1 main course) were surprising, different from what I was used to; compliments to the chef!
