I'm only giving it four stars, but you easily deserve five. The missing star isn't really your fault. I'd say we ate outside, at the very end of the little alley, so the loss of stars is simply due to the surroundings. The alley is very narrow, the view isn't particularly pleasant, and we had background music coming from the kitchen window, so we could hear all the conversations. Otherwise, as for the meal, I'd easily give it five stars, because from the amuse-bouche to the dessert, it was a delight. And kudos to the waiter, who was truly professional and friendly.

18/07/2026: Superb atmosphere, a small, typically Alsatian brasserie in the heart of the city, very close to the tourist attractions. We ate and drank very well; the food was fresh, there was even too much! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The service in French/German was excellent. For English speakers who like to complain, there is a printed English menu; all you have to do is point out what you want or use Google Translate if you're really struggling. Remember, the staff is already bilingual, and no one owes you English. All in all, a calm and relaxing evening; I will definitely return. Thank you very much!
09/07/2026: I found the portraits of women on the walls very appealing. Furthermore, the food was wonderful, and the prices surprisingly good. Highly recommended; I will definitely eat there again next time. Not just because of the portraits.
