Few restaurants are open on a Tuesday evening, so it was a great find because we had a delicious meal at this restaurant serving simple, good traditional cuisine. We received a warm welcome and good service, and the atmosphere was calm (which was all the better). The set menu (starter, main course, dessert) cost €19.90.

Excellent food. The dining room is a bit small and fills up very quickly...the price of success.

Positive point: €19.90 set menu including starter, main course, and dessert. The sliced bread was dry and from a factory. The choices were very simple but good. Negative point: The aperitif was served almost immediately before the starter arrived... Service was too fast. The place is cozy but small. Not wheelchair accessible.

Hôtel - Restaurant Chandouineau

18/06/2026: We stayed one night. We slept very well. The spacious room was very pleasant. We ate at the restaurant. The food was excellent and plentiful, made with fresh ingredients. We received a very warm welcome and the staff were incredibly kind. We highly recommend this hotel. BRAVO!
13/06/2026: We stayed one night in Redon and were welcomed as is customary at this hotel, at the last minute. I left a message on the answering machine and was called back within the hour. We were on the road, and it was very much appreciated to be received like that. We had a simple but good quality breakfast. The room was very pleasant, spacious, and very clean. I highly recommend this establishment and will return on our next visit.
