The service was efficient and pleasant.

05/05/2026: A revisit to this lovely friendly restaurant , still providing great food at very reasonable prices. Real home cooking, we both had the same set menu of avocado and prawns, pork and a cocotte of veg in a creamy sauce and chocolate fondant to finish. The pork was meltingly tender in a tasty sauce and the veg cocotte was delicious. The chocolate fondant would have been a hit with masterchef having a delectablely oozy centre. Can't recommend highly enough.

26/04/2026: We went to eat at this restaurant last night. We ate very well; the risotto was excellent. The only downside: we ordered two pizzas to take away, one of which was a scallop pizza, and what a surprise when we got home and saw that it was a Reine pizza! We don't eat pork, so we ended up with a pizza we couldn't eat, and we paid the price of a scallop pizza, which was more expensive. I have to admit, we were disappointed.
20/04/2026: A very good time at La Minoterie, in addition to discovering the city, Creole-inspired cuisine and atmosphere.

A true delight, always bursting with flavor. The wines, beers, and soft drinks are also well-chosen! The staff's smiles and responsiveness mean we've never been disappointed. Unbeatable value for money!

22/04/2026: The welcome was cold, the service was poor, and once the food arrived, we didn't see anyone. We waited 30 minutes, then I went to the bar to ask for coffees.
As a result, we weren't even offered dessert 🙄
When the person finally brought our coffees, they cleared the table.
They weren't smiling or friendly.
The menu only offered a choice of three meat dishes! No pies or fish...
21/04/2026: We stumbled upon this place by bike at lunchtime before heading along the Vilaine River, and were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome, the simple yet effective menu, the delicious and generous portions, and the quick and friendly service. Highly recommended!

08/09/2024: One of the rare restaurants open on Sundays, which is not its only merit. At wok time, we are dealing with a dish cooked to order. However, the service was quite quick. We chose the marinated beef calbogian salad which was very tasty.
