It was perfect! We stayed overnight in Montsoreau and followed the recommendations. This restaurant offers unparalleled service, the cuisine is "magical," served and prepared with great originality. A must-try, but remember to book!

Tasty crepes but the service was frustratingly slow. There was a main lady serving and she has a colleague helping but it all felt a bit disorganised: long wait to order / pay etc. We found it difficult with young, impatient children. It would probably be fine with just adults! The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

13/08/2026: The food was excellent, made with fresh ingredients. The servers were pleasant and smiling. The only downside was the long wait for dessert at the end of our meal, while our coffees arrived before we had even finished them. We realized we had to hurry because the servers were eager for us to leave so they could close up (even though the sign outside clearly stated they were open all day). A shame...
09/08/2026: Simple food, the meat was very good, the fries I think were frozen. Restaurant overlooking a pretty village square. Friendly welcome.
