Excellent welcome, the bosses are simply adorable. Homemade cassoulet for me, roasted camembert for my lady, more than generous portions, impeccable quality and taste, without forgetting that everything is homemade. This is clearly the address not to be missed when you are passing through Catelnaudary. A quality/price ratio that the competition cannot fight against. We will definitely return on future visits to your magnificent city.

We arrived by bike on Wednesday September 4 at 2:30 p.m. and were very well received. The hearty meal was excellent, homemade with fresh produce and a very very reasonable price. Marie France and Jean, the boss, are adorable and extremely kind. We left at 4:30 p.m. Marie France and Jean gave us plenty of time. We really recommend this restaurant Thank you very much and see you soon René and Gérard

The owner couple takes touching care of their guests. We chose the 25 euro menu with a bottle of red wine for 14 euros. All dishes are carefully prepared. Madame carefully asked us several times whether we were happy.

Very well received and made to feel comfortable straight away even though we had not booked. A simple menu offered, for a hearty and delicious meal. Very good value for money, we recommend

Passing through the area this evening, it's nice to find a restaurant like this because we can't find more. Very good traditional cuisine, very very friendly owners, I highly recommend. Enjoy.❤️

Menu entrée plat dessert avec 2 choix excellent accueil, rapport qualité prix, fait maison. Un choix de desserts maison. Ça fait longtemps que je n' avais pas trouvé une bonne mousse au chocolat maison au restaurant. Réservation conseillée

09/09/2024: What a good address, the cassoulet is delicious. The owner and waitresses are adorable. I recommend it to you.
08/09/2024: Restaurant in Castelnaudary with a small facade on the street which doesn't look like much. Traditional local cuisine prepared by the very friendly, experienced cook Germaine, always in the kitchen. Restaurant with a cassoulet specialty on the menu. Very reasonable prices and well-prepared homemade dishes with regional products. Downside on the service of the day of our lunch, a little long and with an order error, but excused because the waitress was alone in the room and overwhelmed. Restaurant to try without problem.

Le Tirou

03/09/2024: Tirou, it's over. It is no longer Mr. Visentin who is in charge of the kitchen and who offered an extraordinary 100% homemade cassoulet. Now, the MT workshop subcontracts a cassoulet from Maison Escudier (according to the waitress). If this remains correct, we are far from what we tasted at Tirou; it's just good but far from exceptional... The house has lost its charm, the animals have left the garden. It's a shame, it was a nice stopover on the way to the holidays, I will look for another house during my next visit to Castelnaudary.
