Well, it's a bit expensive for what I ate: €33 for the ribeye steak, okay... It's a shame, the setting is nice, but it's for rich people who work in Switzerland, I think.

La Ferme à Élise in Saint-Cergues first captivates with its warm and authentic Savoyard décor. From the moment you step inside, you're immersed in a mountain chalet atmosphere: wood paneling is everywhere, there's a stone fireplace, antique objects adorn the walls, and cozy nooks create a friendly and intimate ambiance. The exterior, with its garden and animals, reinforces this "working farm" feel, appealing to both adults and children.
As for the food, the dishes are rather simple, which might seem surprising in such a refined setting. The steak tartare, for example, requires you to season it yourself, which is a shame and could be improved to offer a more complete experience. Despite this, the overall experience remains pleasant and reassuring, especially for a convivial meal with family or friends.
In short, La Ferme à Élise is worth a visit for its unique ambiance and décor, even if the cuisine could benefit from more finesse and preparation. A charming place, but with a slight drawback in the food.

We came to eat with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was mixed.
The service was particularly slow, with a long wait between courses. We also had to ask for bread and a carafe of water, which were never offered to us spontaneously. The same was true for a salad served in a large platter in the middle of the table, without individual plates, which was quite surprising.
The atmosphere is rather noisy, which doesn't help in having a pleasant time, especially with the already slow service.
That said, the food was quite good, which somewhat redeems the overall experience. It's a shame about the service and organization, because there's potential.

We had dinner at La Ferme d’Élise for the first time tonight and had a wonderful time. The service was quick and efficient, and the food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and intimate, perfect for a meal with family or friends.
It felt almost like being in a mountain chalet! A lovely little bonus: the adorable pony that was right in front of us.

A minor hiccup with a piece of meat on the hot stone, but the team reacted very well, brought us excellent meat, and ensured everything went smoothly throughout the meal. Great food, very pleasant staff, thank you!
