An excellent lunch served at this goose farm in their beautiful open walled stone building, once perhaps barns, and with tables outside under trees for the very necessary shade - it was 39°C today!
Five courses, focussing on very high quality home produced foie gras and other outstanding local specialities - duck etc. A traditional sweet aperitif, vin de noix & pineau des Charentes, served pate.
Then four more quite large courses, all perfectly cooked and served by smiling, happy owners and staff. House wine was good, we had the rosé; the bottle of red we chose was excellent - AOC Pécharmant 2018!
A fair price for such high quality. We will return, for sure.

Mandatory visit to taste local products. Everything is homemade and the products come from the innkeepers' livestock, from the aperitif to the dessert. Very warm welcome. Better to book in advance.

An essential address if you are passing through and want to taste good homemade products! A friendly welcome, excellent value for money (it's very plentiful), and a beautiful shaded terrace, all the ingredients of an excellent farm inn!
