Superb setting, warm and very pleasant staff. There were six of us, and the menu was very diverse, featuring local produce. We ordered very different dishes, and they were all a hit. The food was exceptionally good—gourmet, sophisticated, and above all, delicious. I recommend it 1000%!

While visiting Brantôme, we had lunch at this restaurant. The setting is superb, and with perfect weather, we were able to enjoy the market hall. This restaurant offers lovely seasonal dishes. Very well prepared, thank you to the chef! The welcome is pleasant, and the courses arrive promptly without any waiting. I give it 5 stars because we had a lovely time. The only point that could be improved is the wine list, which could be expanded in terms of both selection and price, especially for the white wines, but this won't stop us from returning with great pleasure. Thank you to the whole team!

We've eaten at this restaurant several times now and we're never disappointed, summer or winter! The food is very good and the service is always excellent.

Excellent restaurant, superb food, everyone is very professional and friendly. The setting is wonderful. A lovely touch with little "Happy Birthday" confetti for my husband's birthday and a discreet little candle on his dessert. We can't wait to come back and try the beautiful terrace.

A beautiful, truly relaxing setting, with lovely decor in a semi-historic building. A warm and professional team introduced us to menus that were all equally tempting. It was so good that it made us want to come back and try everything else! It's a shame we live a bit far away…

A superb spot for a gourmet meal and delicious local flavors! The setting is magnificent, both the interior and exterior spaces, promising wonderful summer moments... The cuisine is equally indulgent with its Périgord touches. The service is impeccable and warm! A great find!

We have been to La Recre Gourmande many times since 2012 either for lunch or dinner, with family, friends or just the two of us and none of us have ever been disappointed. The restaurant is situated in a beautiful old building, with wooden beams and exposed stone walls. For the summer there is also a tastefully designed open, covered outdoor dining terrace. Food is freshly prepared. The owner explains the menu which is on a board and takes your orders. Very friendly staff and excellent service. The food is well presented and cooked, tasty and seasoned with a several options for each course. The restaurant is situated in calm, tranquil grounds just on the outskirts of Brantome. They also have 3 gites, which can accommodate 2-4 guests. Plenty of parking.

A wonderful experience for us. The setting and the building are magnificent. We had a family meal and came all the way from Cognac. We were welcomed with such genuine warmth and kindness that it was truly heartwarming. We'll definitely be back! We highly recommend it. Thank you again for this lovely time.
