We had a wonderful time at the Auberge! We went on the recommendation of friends and it truly is a superb place, just the kind we love. The owner is down-to-earth and unpretentious, and he enjoys offering simple, delicious food made with his own produce. This kind of place really deserves to be a heritage site. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; the soup brought back so many childhood memories of eating at my grandmothers' house. And I've never eaten such good duck! All the products were of exceptional quality. I highly recommend this place if you're ever in the Périgord region! It's the kind of place where you're happy to give a generous tip.

Wow! What a wonderful moment of warmth and authenticity. The owners went out of their way to accommodate my lactose intolerance. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. And products in the shop so I could continue enjoying them at home. Thank you for this marvelous welcome to spring on this beautiful Easter Sunday 2026 🌸🐣

Au Fil Du Temps

30/06/2026: Excellent menu (the best Périgord salad I've ever had 👍) and the interior decor is magnificent. A major drawback was the manager, who pretended to be friendly between shouts. The young servers were fantastic. This woman would do well to trust them more and delegate a bit more (taking the money, for example, doesn't require a high level of training...). The wait between ordering and the arrival of the food was incredibly long. We gave up on ordering dessert and coffee. What a shame!
13/06/2026: We received a very warm welcome. The service was pleasant and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the foie gras, the sweetbreads with celery root purée, and the mango dessert. We would have preferred a walnut and caramel tart with vanilla ice cream rather than the cabecou cheese ice cream. We particularly enjoyed the financiers. We will gladly return.
