A beautiful and unique place with excellent service. A lovely atmosphere and simple, delicious dishes, but the prices are a bit inflated for what they are. Especially the drinks.

A very nice little restaurant with great, cozy decor, a fireplace, and wood-burning stoves that provide a wonderfully comfortable warmth. The owner and waitress are incredibly friendly. Good fish and chips. They don't take cards but accept bank transfers.

Cool little place on the hill. Classic type of small mountain restaurant. No card payments but they did accept an international bank transfer! Glad there was a phone signal. No WiFi. A shame Portes du Soleil don’t invest in WiFi like some other resorts. Still a great friendly little place worth looking out for.

A typical Savoyard restaurant with excellent homemade dishes and authentic Savoyard cuisine. I highly recommend it.

The setting is magnificent and the mountain atmosphere is great. A little disappointed by the service, but there are days without... And the coffees are not worth their price, even at this altitude. But try again for a more complete experience.

19/04/2026: We had a lovely time at this restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is genuinely kind, welcoming, and friendly, which makes all the difference. The food was generally good, but it's a shame it wasn't piping hot enough when served; it detracted somewhat from the enjoyment. We were seated in a small room behind the bar. The place is nice, but it could use a bit more light to be even more pleasant. Despite these minor points for improvement, it's still a good place with a very friendly team.
02/04/2026: A superb experience at La Ripaille! The staff is simply outstanding: welcoming, smiling, and attentive from beginning to end. You can tell they love their work and want to make their customers happy. The service is seamless, warm, and truly professional. Thank you for this lovely time—we'll gladly be back!
