I have good memories from 5 years ago... I think the restaurant has lost a little of its dynamism but you absolutely won't be disappointed 👍

Small, friendly restaurant on a square that is much less stuffy than the restaurants on the large main square. The service is pleasant, the menu is simple, but offers most of the possibilities. The nectarine salad is excellent. Even if for my taste there is a little too much green salad. The prices are correct. The glacier lacks a little flavor outside of the fundamentals.

A classic in Uzès. One of the rare restaurants that offers all meals from breakfast to dinner, including afternoon tea with very good homemade cakes and tarts (cheesecake 😁). Personally I love the Aubrac burger and the bobun 🍵. Friendly and efficient staff, and the square is very pretty with its plane trees. In short, a good address that I recommend to friends!

The service is not very professional. After being seated, we waited for a good ten minutes for the menu even though the terrace was not crowded and it would have been so easy to make us wait while choosing our dishes and having a drink. At the end of the meal, bill requested twice and waited a good quarter of an hour. Again, not very attentive. Once the order is placed, our dishes arrive after only 5 minutes…and this time it’s very (too?) fast. What is on the plate remains correct but is not top-notch and would benefit from a little more work. It's certainly not a disaster overall, but we remain a little disappointed with our visit, we expected better based on the comments.

Passing through Uzes on a Monday it was complicated to find an open restaurant, we were able to dine as a couple and without being a "large" restaurant we had a good dinner, we only had the main course, Burger, copious, excellent meat and seasoning , no dessert...no longer hungry. Fair price.

We were there one evening. Top orchestra with musicians who know how to play and a top singer with a wide repertoire. Meticulous cuisine and impeccable service. I recommend.

En ce jour de marché,prise de cafés et en suite Apéritif a ce beau restaurant. Bravo bravo à la jeune patronne à son chef et sa jeune équipe … De très belles assiettes très copieuses,par exemple nous avons choisis salade de poulpes sur lit de salade et pomme de terre ,beaucoup de nos amis Alsaciens nous accompagnant ont eu de la peine à finir ,tellement copieux … Moi j’ai adoré ,c’était très goûteux et bien cuit . Pour finir un bon dessert 🍮 à la carte ,pour moi tarte fine fait maison aux abricots et pour nos amis des glaces avec de bons parfums… Bravo à la patronne pour bien gérer ce bel et ancien établissement et bravo pour le choix de son chef ….. La terrasse était pleine,mais c’est bien justifié. Je ne peux que recommander ce bel établissement…🥰🙏😍

La qualité du service à la hauteur de mes attentes, tout comme le choix et qualité gustative de mon plat et vin rosé d’accompagnement suivi du dessert mangue. Jeremy a su être présent en toute discrétion. Je reviendrai et recommande pour une pause déjeuner, repas en famille ou un pause café et/ou thé. Vraiment très agréable.

Inventive menu with some seasonal options. Very good food. Reasonably priced, Nice wine, but no cocktails. Will definitely go back ! Highly recommend

14/09/2024: We have come several times over the last few years and have never been disappointed; which was not the case last summer: my husband had read for his dish “…fondant potato…” he had to look it up! And ended up finding a mini potato slice hidden under “half mini vegetables”! It's becoming unbearable for this kind of restaurant that presents mini portions on large plates! Damage !
05/09/2024: In a beautifully landscaped heritage setting, we had a great gastronomic time. We tasted the menu for €54. The price is justified by the quality and accuracy (seasoning and cooking) A good address

Le Bec a vin

04/09/2024: Le Bec à Vin in Uzès is truly a charming place, with its medieval setting and its shaded garden. We went there twice, so yes, we liked it! The cuisine is excellent, based on fresh and local products, and perfectly highlights the flavors of the region. The wine list is also remarkable, with very nice selections. That said, there are a few areas for improvement. The boss, for example, could show a little more warmth. He has a slightly pedantic attitude and lacks a bit of empathy, which can make you uncomfortable. We feel that the staff are a little under pressure, which is a shame because they are friendly and professional. A word of advice: remember to book in advance, otherwise you risk finding yourself in a slightly embarrassing situation with a boss who doesn't immediately put you at ease. Finally, the lighting on the terrace could be redesigned: white light bulbs do not do justice to the atmosphere of the place. Warmer lighting would be much more suitable for creating a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. In short, Le Bec à Vin is worth the detour for the quality of its dishes and wines, but a few adjustments could make the experience even more pleasant.
