We ate at La Gabare last night with my partner and her mother. It's always so good and plentiful. The restaurant is for sale, I hope it's just a passing idea because we would miss the kindness, the atmosphere, the quality of the dishes and their great generosity. It's the second time I've had the mountain burger and I'm enjoying it so much that I hope to be able to eat more next year. And if the restaurant sells anyway, we'll follow Cathy, the owner, in her projects which we hope won't be too far off.

Very pleasant welcome, restaurant with a view of the Dordogne. I ordered the vegan plate ☺️ a killer with the mint sauce I loved it. Very generous and very tasty plate. I highly recommend it

Very well received by the always pleasant server even with a good service of 40 people. Plates that would make other restaurants cry. Quality products. A setting that is always very pleasant with a view of the Dordogne. To recommend 10,000 times. Even after 6 years without having returned.

Thanks to a kind gentleman who gave us the address of this restaurant and assured us we wouldn't regret it. The dishes are generous. We fell in love with the gabare dish... Just 👌 Oh yes, there's even a pool for those who want to take a dip.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wonderful evening in an idyllic setting by the water! The atmosphere was both relaxed and welcoming, perfect for enjoying a delicious meal. The service was truly top-notch: quick, friendly, and attentive. The dishes were generous and flavorful; excellent value for money. A place to remember and recommend without hesitation!

30/11/2025: A very good dinner. Offering dishes from the North of France is a challenge in such a gastronomic region. After a day in the cold gardening, I needed a hearty meal: I was served a generous and delicious Welsh rarebit. I had trouble finishing it! The service was friendly and unpretentious. A great place to eat well without breaking the bank. I'll be back to try the other dishes from the North, or even the pizzas, which looked delicious and smelled wonderful.
