La Galerie, Brasserie de Tradition sur Valenciennes

Exceptional setting, a very pleasant first spa experience! The second time spent under the glass roof was absolutely sublime and relaxing. Unfortunately, for this second experience, the Mojito had very little rum, an opinion confirmed by my partner. I should have mentioned it, but I didn't dare...

We stayed at the hotel several months ago, and the bar more recently. The hotel and restaurant were impeccable. The location was superb, and the staff were friendly and professional. However, the bar (with its glass roof) was a disaster. We ordered cocktails in the evening, and they cost €15 for pre-mixed drinks with no attempt at presentation whatsoever. Then, on another visit, we ordered ice cream (which was listed on the menu without any explanation) on a Sunday afternoon. The response was, "Not possible, the kitchens are closed." But they served ice cream to a table near us "because they had ordered earlier" (and they waited 30 minutes for their precious ice cream). Then we asked for a glass of white wine. They were out of white wine. On a Sunday afternoon in a hotel/bar/restaurant of this size, there's no white wine? The staff, while very friendly, seemed helpless. There is clearly a problem with the bar's offerings and organization, which is, after all, the primary showcase of this luxury hotel.

Thank you to Arnaud and Abdou for their impeccable service, answering all my questions, and attending to my requests! You are fabulous; thanks to you, my mother will remember her birthday at this beautiful establishment 🫶🏾 One small complaint: the shower water was cold.

Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until we left. We were given this weekend as a gift and we were delighted. The room was spacious, we enjoyed the welcome cocktails and our dinner at the Galerie, the spa is magnificent and we were able to enjoy the coolness of the place, we will be back, we promise, thank you to all the teams.

Magnificent 4-star hotel. Indoor pool with stunning vaulted ceilings. Excellent spa. Good and varied cuisine. Very well-equipped suite. Professional and friendly staff. Very convenient city center location and parking. I recommend this hotel.

We stayed in a Deluxe Suite. A superb experience! The high ceilings... magnificent. The service was always impeccable. The bar is also very pleasant, with quick service and a very energetic young bartender! The pool is heated and beautiful. In short, I highly recommend it!

A dream hotel with spacious rooms and soaring ceilings! Weekend at the Candlelight Restaurant (Hans Zimmer with the Jupiter Quartet (excellent!!)) - a peaceful night and the pool the next morning (and what a pool!!!!! What a setting...) Ideally located near the city center and shops.... Don't hesitate!
