Very pretty, but the pool water is freezing.

This hotel is truly magnificent. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, giving the impression of sleeping in an enchanted place. The spa is very pleasant, and the vaulted pool has an intimate yet spectacular feel. The hotel is easily accessible from the train station and close to the city center, while still being in a very quiet area, which is a real plus!

The best part: the staff are always smiling and try their best. The room is very clean. For weekend stays, there's either a DJ or other artists. If your room overlooks the bar, the bass resonates until 11 pm, so consider bringing earplugs. The bar is quite noisy.

Royal. A place that truly lives up to its name: the Royal Hainaut. Everything about it is sublime. The building's architecture is both majestic and grand, and the decor, executed with exquisite harmony, is simply fabulous. This immense former almshouse has been transformed with a true sense of artistry—congratulations on such finesse. The corridors seem endless and contribute to the charm of the place. We chose a Deluxe room, and it fully deserves its name: spacious, elegant, with a large bathroom and separate toilet. The swimming pool is absolutely incredible, with its turquoise waters and original pillars—an almost surreal setting. The La Galerie restaurant is also a remarkable space, worthy of a castle. The service was impeccable: a waiter who was always smiling, attentive, and responsive, offering excellent wine recommendations. The menu perfectly met our expectations. A wonderful discovery to celebrate my birthday. I highly recommend this establishment, a true gem of heritage. Well done!

Superb hotel, ideally located in the city center with private parking. The decor complements the building's original style. The staff is very attentive to guests.

Improvements have been made to the reception since 2024; we had a wonderful time at the spa, thank you to Jade and Ninon for the massage. A minor drawback was the locker system, which needs improvement (no keys and broken codes), and the lack of information that the hammam entrance is before the changing rooms; many people missed it, as I think we did.

Superb venue for this type of concert. The only problem is the very difficult or poorly organized parking outside.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful with such a great bar and the rooms are well appointed, spacious and in very good order. Unfortunately the service is a bit random. It can be efficient and polite or totally the opposite. This was the case at the bar and for the breakfast. It feels luck plays a great part in who is going to serve you. I don't think I would book there again though.

We went to this place as a couple, having been recommended by friends. The hotel, bar, and restaurant were all perfect, even magnificent. Our only slight complaint was about the spa; the pool was a bit chilly for our liking, and the common areas were also rather cold, especially when getting out of the water. Otherwise, the massages and treatments were perfect. The hotel staff were very competent and helpful. It remains a very pleasant place to spend a weekend. However, the sauna was out of order, and we couldn't be told if it would be repaired before our departure.
