La Galerie du Petit Paris sur Valenciennes

A truly wonderful experience at the Royal Hainaut, celebrating my mother's 70th birthday on August 8th. We dined at La Galerie restaurant, the one with the long, narrow dining room adorned with numerous portraits. The setting was absolutely magnificent, perfectly reflecting the charm of this historic building. It was a truly wonderful experience. Our waiter was incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive—truly worthy of this type of establishment. We enjoyed a delicious meal, with excellent dishes and pleasant service. Having heard about my mother's birthday, he even had the thoughtful touch of placing a small candle on her dessert, without us even asking. A small gesture, but one that truly made the moment special. I also asked him if he could take some photos of us to capture the day. He kindly agreed, with a smile. In short, a superb meal, an exceptional setting, a warm welcome, and above all, a beautiful memory for my mother's birthday. Thank you to the team at La Galerie and especially to our server for these thoughtful touches which helped make this day even more special.

Lovely evening! Good food and very pleasant service. The staff are very friendly.

Very mixed feelings. An extraordinary starter (watermelon, feta, etc.), a very average carbonnade for the region, limp and cold matchstick fries (we sent them back, they came back... limp and cold), mussels and fries not even worthy of a Flunch, and to finish, average profiteroles as well, apart from the ice cream. In short, for a €42 menu, we have the right to expect much better. I don't know if we just caught them on an off day, but the experience was very disappointing.

We were warmly welcomed and given excellent advice by our waitress, Céline, who recognized us. She was very kind and provided great recommendations for drinks and food. I wish her little girl a very happy 5th birthday tomorrow.

We came to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary and received a wonderful welcome and excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, I highly recommend it, and we will be back very soon.

Hello, The restaurant is in a magnificent setting, reflecting the Royal Hainaut. The food was excellent: generous portions, refined and delicious, featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients. The servers were pleasant, attentive, and smiling. I highly recommend this establishment.
