We dined at La Galerie restaurant during our stay at the Royal Hainaut. The lamb Parmentier was good and piping hot, unlike the beef chuck roast, which arrived cold but was quickly reheated. The dishes were very good, despite rather slow service, which meant we left before our dessert order was taken.

During our stay at the Royal Hainaut Hotel, we chose this restaurant for dinner. The setting is magnificent. The service is excellent. The food is refined. (Our only slight complaint is that the fries were a little too salty for our taste.) Everything was perfect for a truly memorable experience. If you're looking for an experience that will delight both your eyes and your palate, don't hesitate!

20/06/2026: Everything is always perfect. My husband wanted beef fillet with pepper sauce, and they made him an excellent dish—one he'll definitely ask for again! The chef, Lionel, is very attentive to his customers. A must-stop in Valenciennes.

21/06/2026: Lovely terrace, pleasant and efficient service. On this Fête de la Musique, there were four excellent singers. The music was a bit too loud, though. Andouillette sausage, fries, and then delicious profiteroles! A really great place!
