The food was exceptional; we ordered all three starters, main courses, and desserts, and everything was outstanding. The service was excellent throughout, and they also speak very good Spanish.

Fantastic from start to finish. La Petit Ourse is essentially a two person operation but you wouldn't realize it based on how beautiful and intricate the food can be. Charlotte who runs the front of the house operation is exceptionally warm and accommodating. The restaurant features multiple daily options including vegetarian ones and the dishes themselves are as beautiful as they are delicious. A must visit in Rennes and, honestly, one of my favorite meals in France period.

An excellent lunch! The cuisine is truly refined, with sophisticated flavors that are a little out of the ordinary. The welcome is perfect and the setting very pleasant, with a touch of intimacy: the partially open kitchen can be glimpsed as you move through the dining room, and a small terrace allows a few tables to enjoy the outdoors. Special mention goes to the Savoie wine, which was truly delicious. We were able to easily chat with the person running the restaurant, who took the time to explain the dishes in detail—a real plus. Please note that the restaurant is only open for lunch, and it's best to make a reservation: the place is very popular and doesn't accept walk-ins. A very good address in Rennes, which we highly recommend, and where we will gladly return.
