It's good, quick, inexpensive, and the service is very friendly!
The setting is really pleasant!
The menu is admittedly small, but more than enough, and everything is fresh! That's the main thing.
The downside? Its location, as parking is difficult…
(Small update: I think the desserts have recently declined in terms of presentation and quality.)

I booked this restaurant for my in-laws as a surprise for their birthday, and they absolutely loved it! They ate very well and thoroughly enjoyed their meal.
The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming. A big thank you for this lovely experience; I highly recommend it!

We returned to the bistro at the beginning of August 2026. The setting and the food are still just as good. The welcome was a little more reserved and the service a little less responsive, but since it was a young, inexperienced person, we should encourage this kind of person because finding good staff in the restaurant industry who are willing to work is no longer easy, especially during the holidays.

Passing through Valenciennes, we checked the Google reviews; the bistro has good ratings. The waitress was professional and attentive. The place is very pleasant and the prices are affordable. However, the food was a disappointment: the fries were served with a lot of frying residue, which is unacceptable! The plates were chipped, which is unacceptable! Two of our seafood platters were missing the avocado. As for the kidneys: there was myoglobin in the dish, even though we ordered them medium-rare. Perhaps they weren't allowed to rest before being cut.

A very warm welcome, high-quality food that was well-prepared and presented, generous portions, and reasonably priced... a knowledgeable wine list.

An excellent place recommended by a friend. I'm thrilled: finally, a restaurant that knows how to cook with flavor! I recommend the baked egg with Maroilles cheese as a starter—it's delicious! My partner had the avocado toast and loved it; it was very generous. Special mention for the two mocktails: the Passion Fruit and the Zesty. I haven't tasted a better non-alcoholic cocktail. Bravo!
