A superb discovery!! Well done to the whole team, in the kitchen and in the dining room. Everything was excellent, from the appetizer to the dessert, accompanied by very good wine. Breton greetings!

We had the pleasure of inaugurating the new back terrace of La Garaudière, furnished with high tables and stools. A true haven of happiness, convivial and full of charm, with a beautiful view of the garden. We shared dishes in a homey atmosphere… but with the added bonus of being pampered by an attentive team. Special mention goes to the chef's chicken and foie gras pâté en croûte, simply delicious! All accompanied by a bottle of wine, perfectly chosen to enhance the meal. A gourmet, warm, and convivial interlude, where you truly feel at ease. An address we wholeheartedly recommend!

Le Bistrot du Bord de l'eau

06/09/2026: It was okay, nothing special. I expected better. The setting is beautiful. My piece of meat was stringy. No vegetables on the side, just potatoes, which were very good. The chocolate dessert was small but tasty. I felt there was a lack of privacy at the table. The upside of this lack of privacy was that we got to know our table neighbors, but that's not necessarily what you're looking for when you go to a restaurant. The service was good but somewhat disorganized: we were asked several times if we had ordered our main courses and then our desserts.
06/09/2026: Bistrot du Bord de l’Eau was easily one of the highlights of our trip. The food was absolutely outstanding—beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and everything we tried was excellent. The service was exceptional: friendly, attentive, and professional without ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere and setting are beautiful, peaceful, elegant, and incredibly relaxing, and the location in Levernois just outside Beaune makes it a perfect stop while exploring Burgundy. From the food to the service to the surroundings, everything was first-class. One of the best places we ate during our entire trip and an absolute must if you’re visiting the Burgundy region.
