I came for my birthday with a gift certificate; I only knew this restaurant by name.
The food was absolutely delicious and flavorful, the setting is beautiful, and the waitresses and waiters were truly excellent.

Beautiful location, lovely setting. Very nice menu and tasty dishes. We took the set menu featuring, among other things, the poached eggs, the risotto, and the beef. For dessert, someone in our party wanted a beer instead, but that turned out not to be possible. This was communicated very firmly, even a bit unfriendly...
That last part didn't bother us in the end, but it is unacceptable.
We did have a wonderful time, though.

The food was excellent, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The setting is magnificent, making for a very pleasant experience. However, a few things could be improved: we spent the entire meal under the awning in stifling heat, with no breeze whatsoever, even though the ceiling fans weren't directed towards our table. Furthermore, the numerous carafes of water were unfortunately far too hot during this heatwave, even with the ice cubes served alongside at the end of the meal. It's a shame, because these are small details that would have greatly improved our comfort. Despite this, the experience remains very positive thanks to the quality of the cuisine.

The setting is beautiful, the menu perfect, but where things went wrong was the hour-long wait for the first course. We asked for ice-cold water, and this was ignored. Furthermore, the waiter told me I should have mentioned at the same time that I would be ordering a carafe of water, which is what I had requested (ice-cold water). In addition, there were many flies around us, not just on our table. Given the heat (over 30 degrees Celsius), the nearby river, and the large number of people, it was very unpleasant while eating. You should take this into account in the future; don't prioritize profit over customer satisfaction. It's a shame...

The experience was absolutely fantastic! The waiters and waitresses were all pleasant and professional despite the heat!
We had a gift certificate from our wedding that was a little past its expiration date, and they kindly agreed to honor it anyway!
The food was perfect, especially the enormous floating island dessert.
Highly recommended!
