La Gargouille sur Briancon

I took a picture of this plate so my app could calculate the calories. It found this restaurant, and the dish with its fresh cheese was light and tasty. The dining room is simple.

Excellent quality food, it has easily become a regular stop during our stay in Briançon. Always friendly and accommodating service, even in English. Welcoming place. Various daily specials. Reservations recommended, as opening hours don't always match those posted on Google.

A wonderful time, everything was perfect, the meal was absolutely delicious, the waitress very friendly, and the chef was top-notch! Blueberry diabolo 😊 amazing panini fries, a duck breast that was, well, perfect, and the best Liège coffee of my life. We'll be back soon!!!

Wood-fired cuisine featuring excellent local produce, impeccable and very pleasant service, and a lovely chat with the chef at the end of the meal. A real treat and a wonderful discovery!

The first chill of summer may have made the experience even more exciting, but my partner and I had a wonderful time! I had local trout, he had local cheese, accompanied by divine grilled vegetables and potatoes. How wonderful to eat vegetables like this! It takes very little to eat vegetables in a tasty and never boring way...restaurateurs, learn! Excellent wine, and to finish, a chocolate mousse with salt flakes and unforgettable olive oil. P.S. The dining room was divinely managed by a single woman. Kudos to the staff. A bit of a wait, but understandable and worth it.

No complaints whatsoever. I'll be traumatized by the lemon tart for the next 10 years. The meat was perfectly cooked, thick, and expertly prepared. It was a delight. A truly wonderful evening, thank you to the team at this lovely restaurant!

Everything is very good, but if there's one thing that stands out, it's the desserts, which are divine! Best pavlova and best rum baba of my life.

An expensive place with average food. The service is very good. They're not fast, but you're not expecting fast food in a place like this. I expected better value for money; €36 for deli meats... That's a lot.

The place is nice and the food is good quality, worth checking out!
