We had lunch at Le Rustique with family and friends and were absolutely delighted with the experience. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the welcome was incredibly warm. Restaurants where you feel so welcome with children are rare, but here the owner went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. We highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful evening at Le Rustique restaurant after a snowshoe hike. The porcini mushroom fondue was excellent. The games on the table and the jukebox help pass the time while waiting for service when the restaurant is full. Very suitable for families with children.

Excellent restaurant with a very warm welcome and an incredibly delicious and generous morel and porcini mushroom fondue – a real treat for the taste buds! Thank you both for your hospitality! (Big bonus: dogs are welcome!)

We booked a table at Le Rustique on the recommendation of another restaurant owner and we weren't disappointed. The food was excellent and plentiful. Claudine (don't call her "Madame") serves efficiently, all by herself, and with a smile. We'll be back on our next trip to Briançon and highly recommend it. A little tip? Remember to book ahead; it doesn't take long and it prevents you from not getting a table. (About fifteen people couldn't get a table during our meal.)

Claudine gave us an excellent and very warm welcome. Everything is excellent in this superb and very original restaurant. The morel fondue is exceptional; if you're in the Briançon area, go there—it's worth the trip. I love fondues, and at Au Rustique, it's the best fondue I've ever had.
