Simply perfect! The setting is pleasant, the staff is attentive and the service is attentive. The food is obviously very good, with fresh and seasonal products. For example, I recommend the duck leg accompanied by pea and sweet potato puree. An address not to be missed!

We recently dined at La Gentilhommiere and had a mixed experience. While the service was outstanding, with our server being incredibly attentive and charming, the food left much to be desired. It took a frustrating 1.5 hours for my meal to arrive, especially since I didn’t order a starter. When my steak finally came, it was disappointingly chewy and lacked any sides—despite being on a keto diet and requesting vegetables. I ended up drinking champagne on an empty stomach, which didn't help the situation. While I did eventually receive some vegetables after I finished my steak, it felt like too little, too late. Overall, the service was the highlight of the evening, and I truly appreciated our adorable waiter who did his best to make our experience enjoyable. However, the long wait and subpar food quality, particularly the steak, made this visit less than ideal. I hope they can improve their food timing and quality in the future.

The food is good but the plates lack presentation, which is a shame because visuals in gastronomy are important. The dessert was really too sweet and I couldn't find the lightness of the floating island. The service is impeccable and the small intentions: complimentary candles and glasses of champagne are really good!

Lovely place with great food! Service is very friendly and professional with a personal touch. Great atmosphere in the restaurant. When in Nancy, I would go again!

Very decent starter and main course (foie gras terrine and veal rice) but disappointed by the pineapple carpaccio which seemed to me to have no real flavor

Very good restaurant in a street which is packed with them. The owner spoke excellent English as did other waiting staff. They were all jovial and pleasant. A sufficiently large menu to satisfy most palates. You can eat inside or out. Two 3-course meals, a glass of rosé and a soft drink came to €108 and we enjoyed all of it. We would go again.
