La Giunguette des Tanneries sur Le Mans

A great find. Located on the banks of the Sarthe River, very close to the city center. A generous selection of charcuterie.

Nice riverside restaurant, friendly staff, menu with local products, large tables or deckchairs to sit on.

A cute and cheerful space where you always have a great time under pretty garlands and live music. It's even nicer when the team promotes local drinks and products and makes homemade fries with a sauce to die for 🫶🏻 The open-air café is sometimes a victim of its own success: there's no more room anywhere, it's very noisy, and then, what a huge frustration! :')

We always visit here during Le Mans week! The beer is always highly desired after drinking trackside French (horrible) lager. Here you can get IPA's, Pale ales, stouts etc And recently discovered that you can enjoy it was some lovely french sausage......see you next year!

A victim of its own success, it sometimes lacks space to set up shop. But it's a wonderful place to have a drink with friends.

Very good atmosphere. Good quality food.

A super nice open-air café on the banks of the Sarthe, perfect for a drink on a waterfront terrace when the weather's nice. However, plan to arrive early to secure a spot, or not too late after 6 p.m., because otherwise, after the bar's order deadline, the line is endless... The fries are very good. I recommend this place 😃👍
