I recommend booking in advance; it's more comfortable, especially outside when the sun is shining and the weather is nice. The welcome is warm and friendly; this restaurant is a real gem. Every single dish was delicious, without exception, with attention to detail. The fish and meat were cooked to perfection, and the kitchen staff deserves praise for their work.

Excellent main course and dessert, top-notch waiter! And the icing on the cake, a terrace overlooking the Nive river.

Restaurant on the banks of the Nive River, with a view of the two bell towers of the cathedral in the Grand Bayonne district. They offer two set menus for lunch. Friendly waiters. The dishes are well-presented and tasty.

The best thing about it is the view. The menu is limited. Nothing special. I don't understand its rating.

13/08/2026: Excellent value for money. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is great. I enjoyed the baby squid risotto with a chorizo cream sauce. Delicious! If you're ever in Bayonne, this brasserie is well worth a visit.

17/09/2026: We had tapas for dinner, which ended up costing about the same as the set menu, but it was what we chose. The tapas were decent, nothing extraordinary. We didn't have dessert because we didn't feel like it. When I went to pay, the cashier seemed incredulous that we hadn't had dessert and even asked the waitresses. Quite sad, really. Oh well, there are people like that in the world.
17/09/2026: Fast service. We ate very well.
