La Grange sur Montpellier

This is an incredible family run French restaurant right next to the botanical gardens of Montpellier. The food was delicious, they had somethings missing but in amazing home cooked style they had some delicious alternatives as well. The couple who run the show are amazingly king and showed us a great time, even giving us a tour of all the art work that is covering the walls of restaurant. An incredible place for someone who wants proper home French dining.

Excellent restaurant, run by its owners, delicious French cuisine. It is important to know that they only receive cash payments.

Thank you both for this wonderful evening. Authentic, friendly in a warm and fun setting. And we all had a great time. After a long day of driving, what a pleasure to find a friendly and unexpected place like yours to be so well received and to simply indulge yourself with good, well-prepared products accompanied by a good wine. Small, family restaurant, it's like being with family. A not extensive menu but very homemade and delicious dishes A different, endearing, homely and charming place. The incredible decoration, objects accumulated over time by its friendly owner.

A small, no-frills restaurant, flea market-style decor, a boss who was celebrating his birthday that evening, an adorable chef, a very good plate of octopus, a good evening, despite the bill which seemed a little steep to us... Please note: no payment by credit card.

We had a great time at the barn in a vintage decor, with the owner who sets the mood and the adorable chef! The sauce dishes were as we like them, the starters in the photo were a treat and everything homemade with the heart makes for a good meal! Next to Saint Pierre Cathedral, magnificent in the evening. Très belle découverte! Pour moi le restaurant qui représente mieux la cuisine Française sur Montpellier. Les plats sont tous faits maison et avec amour. La décoration est très particulière avec des pièces uniques. Il y a de quoi se remplir les yeux avant le repas! De plus le propriétaire et la chef sont chaleureux et ouverts à vous faire découvrir leur restaurant. Je vais sûrement y retourner!

À la recherche d’un petit restaurant, agréable et chaleureux pour un diner père-fille, on est tombé sur ce petit et charmant restaurant “La Grange”. On a immédiatement adoré l’intérieur du restaurant et la convivialité. Le monsieur et sa femme étaient très accueillants. On se sentait vraiment chez eux, dans leur living. On n’y demande pas beaucoup. Ils font leur meilleurs et ils sont généreux. On est simplement content d’y être et d’expériencer ce moment unique. Mon père et moi ont mangé le soup de champignon et le boeuf bourgignon. c’était délicieux. C’était exactement ce qu’on voulait manger ce jour là, à la fin d’octobre. Comme chez nos grand-parents. On passe un bon moment. Des anciennes assiettes et fourchettes, des objets intéressants avec histoire partout. Toute la soirée on parle des jolis souvenirs de la vie. Ce restaurant nous a fait expériencer vraiment un moment inoubliable, qui maintenant fait partie de mes précieux souvenirs père-fille. Si vous aimez l’autenticité, voilà.
