09/04/2026: Fantastic experience at Chez Flo restaurant in Avoriaz, right on the slopes!
Reservations are a bit hit or miss: we arrived around noon without a reservation and were lucky enough to get a table, but it's not always guaranteed as the place is very popular.
Once seated, we had no complaints: the food was delicious, with generous portions, just as you'd expect from a mountain restaurant. The cuisine is flavorful, with a fairly varied menu featuring wonderful Savoyard specialties like cheese crust and tartiflette.
The service is incredibly fast, perfect for those who want a good meal without wasting too much of their ski day. The servers are very friendly, energetic, and always smiling, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
The setting is also a real plus: a superb view while you eat, and well-spaced tables, allowing you to relax and enjoy yourself without feeling cramped.
Special mention goes to the desserts, many of which are homemade, and especially to the thoughtful touch at the end of the meal: a complimentary limoncello or génépi. It's a gesture that's become rare these days, and it's truly appreciated—it's easy to see why it fosters such strong customer loyalty.
Frankly, a top-notch spot right on the slopes!
