Surprised by its very high ratings, I went to Cévé several times. It's clearly not a bad restaurant, far from it. The dishes are decent, but I was never truly won over, neither by the atmosphere nor the food. It's good, but nothing more, and I don't think it justifies the Gault & Millau label it displays. For me, a fair 3.5/5.

We found this restaurant a bit quaint to be honest. We were seven people and our waiter seated us on the second floor in quite a narrow space. I was boxed in in a corner and when I wanted to leave the table, my friends had to leave their chair so I could get out. The food was good and definitely value for money. 38 euro for a starter, main course and a dessert really is a steal. Although I was expecting more from the three different kind of oysters, especially the cooked oysters were somewhat disappointing. The desserts were very nice. I loved the cheese platter. To me the white wine was the biggest disappointment of the evening. The glass I ordered really was a let down. So I switched to the rosé wine, which was way better. The selection of wines by the glass was also very limited, so I couldn't try another glass of white wine.

We arrived at 7:30 pm and left at 9:15 pm! Another drawback: the portions are small for the price! €38 for a starter, main course, and dessert, plus an extra €2 and €5 for ordering scallops—that's outrageous. Sliced ​​bread from Harrys! Getting good bread isn't difficult in France. For the price, it's not worth it, sorry. I'll pass...

My partner and I went there on a whim. And we were so glad we did! The food is truly homemade (from start to finish, unlike chain restaurants) with fresh homemade fries, homemade sauces, and everything prepared with exceptional skill! This establishment is one of the last bastions of authentic French cuisine, and it absolutely must be protected and defended!

A true brasserie that dares to be creative while maintaining masterful cooking techniques. A bold and high-quality wine list, all within an elegant and cozy setting. The only problem is having only one stomach...

Excellent restaurant, great value for money, all dishes are homemade with a lot of variety in both the menu and the service. I highly recommend it. The waiter was super welcoming and smiling.
