Stay in Lille for the day At Hasart we entered this restaurant A very pleasant moment I give the maximum mark because nothing to say super well eaten super welcome from the staff a good friendly time and above all I recommend it for sure we will return 🥰🥰🥰

Very good discovery! Delicious dishes, top service! A super pleasant and efficient waitress. We went there with 2 children and even for them everything was pleasant. We will come back!

This is the second time we've visited and both times we've had a really lovely time. The food is delicious and the staff are really friendly. The local beer is also really good. For both visits we've been there in the evening with our son (now four years old) and it's never been an issue. The children's menu is limited but the food is really tasty.

We had lunch at this brasserie after visiting the town's Christmas market. The staff is very friendly and takes care of you. The meals are good and the menu is varied which allowed us all to find what we were looking for. The only downside for us is the cleanliness of the upstairs room where we were staying... you shouldn't look up at the ceiling for too long or risk seeing the countless cobwebs hanging (Halloween is over 🥸) and the chandeliers are frankly filthy! The hi-fi must not have seen the dust rag often. It’s a real shame because it gives the impression of being abandoned.

Pleasant beer to drink on the terrace, quality sausages, well-maintained toilets and a very friendly waiter (mostly Gaspard) thank you for this moment, I would come back with pleasure!

Nous y avons simplement bu un verre, profitant de la belle terrasse ensoleillée. Le patron et la serveuse sont très sympas et le service rapide en dépit de l’affluence. Beau choix de bières par ailleurs bien servies

Le Pot Beaujolais

11/04/2024: In Lille over an April weekend to watch Paris Roubaix. Le Pot Beaujolais (situated just off the main square) was our choice for a Friday evening meal. We walked past the restaurant en route to our accommodation and it jumped out at us - it looks like the sort of restaurant you'd find in rural France, rather than in the middle of a city. Having just arrived in the town, we had no reservation but the very friendly staff found us a table. Dishes are traditional French (steaks, andouillette, stew). I planned to order the Pot au feu but it wasn't available so settled on a delicious Pike quenelle in leek fondue. The charcuterie/cheese board we shared as a starter was also good, as was the apple pie for dessert. It's very easy in Lille to find a chain restaurant or modern bistro, particularly in the centre of town. It's probably harder to find a 'little gem' - Le Pot Beaujolais is definitely the latter.
