Nothing exceptional about this broth restaurant with the Flunch service but which tries to give it a more upscale Parisian style. The place is nice but we quickly find ourselves on our own with not much privacy. I had eggs mayonnaise and sausage purée with brown sauce served like in the army, in terms of presentation I have seen better, rum baba dessert. I think that there is nothing really homemade in this broth Une Gargote which is well located and which allows us not to go too far to do our shopping in the city center of Metz It's good, it's very average, it's expensive.

Very nice discovery in this restaurant with a new owner. Everything is homemade and the dishes are really copious and very good, all with a very warm welcome and good value for money. Maybe just a feeling of permanent draft in the room?!?

L'Assiette au Boeuf

05/04/2024: I came without a reservation and they still found me a table. I loved this restaurant, very warm, perfect service and the meat was incredibly good with unlimited fries. The white wine I drank was excellent. The frame is also very pretty and I find the price affordable. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are passing through Metz.
03/04/2024: It's among the best cuts of beef I've ever eaten, and their paradise sauce lives up to its name. A little noisy at times, which is a shame, but the servers are responsive and cheerful (even if French is not all of their strong points, but not to the point where it is a problem). I have already been here several times and will come again

28/03/2024: We were looking for a restaurant with my partner and we came across this gem. The manager is adorable, honestly we were a bit of a task, very chic decor and we were in sweatshirt jeans, however we were served like any other customer, it was very pleasant not to be judged by our outfits. The Normandy snails were delicious, real cider sauce, the dishes were just as delicious, the meat was done to perfection compared to the cooking required, the prawns were really generous. The chocolate fondant was delicious, it felt like real dark chocolate, not too sweet, just perfect. We are very convinced of the food and reception at this restaurant and we highly recommend that you visit it.
