La Maison sur Andernos-Les-Bains

A warm welcome, even though we hadn't made a reservation. The waiters and waitresses were very pleasant and attentive. The starter was worthy of a gourmet restaurant, even though we had ordered the set menu. A minor disappointment with the main course: the fish was just cooked and the meat wasn't what was described. But overall, the experience was very positive, and I recommend this restaurant.

Great restaurant, simple but very well-prepared cuisine, friendly but pleasant service with good advice, simple yet comfortable atmosphere. In short, simply thank you for a lovely time.

We had a wonderful dinner at home. A very pleasant experience, with excellent service. The value for money is outstanding for the area (35 euros for a starter, main course, and dessert, with generous portions and delicious food). We highly recommend it!

Good restaurant. The prices are quite high for a rather unoriginal setting and, above all, a lot of noise in the dining room.

A wonderful discovery at La Maison in Andernos-les-Bains. The cuisine was remarkable: expertly presented dishes, high-quality ingredients, and perfectly balanced flavors. Frankly, it was flawless in that regard. The atmosphere was also delightful, refined and pleasant, ideal for enjoying the moment. The only slight drawback was the service: we were served by several different people throughout the meal (servers changed mid-service, some finishing before closing time). Nothing problematic in itself, the service remained professional, but it did slightly disrupt the flow and detract from that extra touch of attention found in other establishments of the same caliber. Honestly, this is really nitpicking, because the overall experience was excellent. A place to recommend without hesitation.

Everything could have been perfect. The dishes were beautifully presented. The sides and sauces were identical on several dishes; this is a bit concerning. Overall, the food was good and plentiful. The €28 beef fillet, however… how can I put it? I've never eaten such a sinewy and difficult-to-cut fillet. Reported. Huge disappointment. "The place," thankfully, isn't mine: tense atmosphere, unfriendly service, they do the bare minimum with no particular attention to the customer, and it shows. No soft background music. The restrooms are clean, but apart from a bouquet of artificial flowers, it feels like a hospital. Cold. Ugly. Ultimately, it's everything surrounding the food that will make us not want to return. What a shame.
