This Basque cream cake is a real treat! From the Gironde region, I'll definitely stop here every time I pass through the Pyrenees, because it's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just like the authentic Basque cake of my childhood. Thank you!

Restaurant Berria

06/05/2026: Stayed at Hôtel Berria and had a great experience. The location is excellent—set amidst the lush, green surroundings of Hasparren, offering a peaceful atmosphere while still feeling well connected. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The food was a highlight, with delicious Basque flavors that felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared. A lovely place to relax and truly enjoy the stay.
22/03/2026: A beautifully decorated room, with many thoughtful touches upon arrival (Basque cake, complimentary drinks in the refrigerator). The peaceful Basque countryside. A superb breakfast with the chef personally bringing the eggs and bacon – very classy!

13/08/2026: We stumbled in by chance, drawn by an enticing aroma! The pizzas are very good, cooked with passion! There's a real focus on flavor and quality ingredients, with hints of local produce!
