Great! We had the €17.90 and €33.90 menus. Honestly, the €17.90 one was enough; there's no need to go for the €33.90 one. The waiter was super friendly and pleasant, and the food was very good! One small negative point: it was noisy, but we happened to get a very noisy table.

While passing through Carcassonne, we made a wonderful discovery: the restaurant La Maison du Cassoulet. The food is truly excellent, with generous and delicious dishes, and an absolutely divine cassoulet. The welcome is warm and friendly. We highly recommend it!

A restaurant with a family atmosphere that feels like you're in your own home, comfortable, warm. I love the decor they have there. The spectacular, phenomenal, brutal service, asking at all times if everything was to our liking, apologizing if they had taken a while to serve the main courses... that's priceless! Those who work in the service sector like me detect at first glance who has the vocation inside. They have this vocation. The very affordable menu €17.90 per person, the one we chose, there are others more expensive and cheaper. The goat salad, "le cassoulet" and clafoutis aux framboises have exceeded my expectations, I knew I would eat well but so? Well yes. A 10 for the cook and chefs who do everything with love and also to the waiter who served us at the table fantastically and who welcomed us when we entered the restaurant. Thank you very much. We will definitely be back!!!

We came for lunch on a weekday, and only four tables were occupied. The starters were excellent (salmon salad with foie gras), the cassoulet was average, and the duck legs were overcooked. However, the service was appalling: there was a long wait between courses even though the restaurant was nearly empty. We had to get up and get their attention 25 minutes after finishing our meal, all while hearing them chat amongst themselves... I can't imagine what it must be like when the restaurant is full!

Located in the medieval city. They have several very reasonably priced set menus, €14.90 and €17.90, which are the ones we ordered, and they were perfect. The cassoulet, salads, and Toulouse sausage were all excellent. I think the owner was very friendly, and the waiter was a super professional young man. There were Spanish speakers, which was appreciated for those of us who don't speak French. Six of us ate, ordering several set menus, some soft drinks, and beers, and the total came to €21. Something that caught my attention was that the water was filtered and they didn't charge for it. The only downside is that reservations can only be made by phone. It's worth it for a good meal in the city at a reasonable price and to try the cassoulet.

05/01/2026: I booked this restaurant for my birthday. There were 25 adults and 4 children, and it was perfect, both the adult and children's menus and the service. Thank you, ladies, for your attentiveness and kindness, and congratulations to the chef. Excellent. Having a private room was a huge plus. Go there; you won't be disappointed.

It offers a varied menu, ranging from pizzas and a children's menu to traditional French dishes and desserts. You can sit inside or on the terrace, overlooking the street. We chose to sit at one of the many tables in the large dining room and ordered two grilled rib-eye steaks with green peppercorn sauce and potatoes. Everything was absolutely delicious and generous. The staff was welcoming, smiling, competent, and helpful. The service was attentive and quick. The prices were high, but justified by the excellent quality of the meat. My wife and I had dinner at this centrally located, traditional French pizzeria and restaurant, situated on one of the many narrow streets of Carcassonne, France.
