Very good food, generous portions. Recommended price-quality. The staff were very correct, they made an effort to explain everything to us in Spanish. We will be back!

A very good option if you visit La Cité Carcassonne. The menu has a good price for the area (€16.50). The service is good and some waiters speak Spanish, which makes communication easier. The portion of the chicken with mushrooms is small but with the garnishes it is enough. The desserts are good but not the best. My recommendation is the Cassoulet.

It's not very big so it's better to book to take advantage of the very reasonable value for money that this address offers. Very pleasant service, homemade and hearty meals. If some local addresses give you the feeling of a tourist trap, this is clearly not the case here.

Wonderful place inside the medieval city where you can eat the typical Cassoulet with spectacular house wine! Menu of €16.50 highly recommended and perfect! The salad with Chèvre cheese was delicious and the dessert was spectacular too. To return!

La Taverne Moderne

01/04/2024: Very attentive service. We went without a reservation and everything was OK. The food is OK, but it doesn't stand out. Which highlights that the sweet potato fries are ugly, rubbery and cold.
