The food is excellent value for money, the waiters are superb, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Everything was perfect; I would definitely go back.

Cosy terrace, delicious food for a fair price and very kind servers. I forgot my old looking reusable waterbottle, and not only did they save it for me, they also filled it up with fresh water before they gave it to me so i had a drink in the hot weather. Exceptional service!

Highly knowledgeable, multilingual staff run this traditional restaurant with professionalism. You can dine both indoors and outdoors. We tried the cassoulet royale and the Toulouse sausage. The menus, including desserts, were excellent value. I recommend the café gourmande and arroz con leche. The cheesecake is worth a try.

A flawless experience at this restaurant – everything was perfect! A very warm welcome, friendly, energetic, and efficient waiters! The food was truly excellent, and the value for money was unbeatable! A fantastic place to recommend!

The appetizer salad was very good. The duck breast was tough, impossible to cut, and inedible. A simple "Sorry" would have been appreciated. The service was very good and friendly at first, but then we were ignored. The cheese was also very good.

Chateau St. Martin Restaurant

13/10/2026: My husband and I had the most lovely long weekend here. The b&b is full of charm and is located out of the city, surrounded by a garden. We could walk to the Carcassonne on a little trail that followed the river Aude. Clemont, the owner, is slowly refurbishing the castle with care and passion. Dinner with him was the best meal we had on our trip, and he was kind enough to adjust the meal to be vegetarian for me. Overall, an absolutely perfect country escape from the city. Couldn’t recommend it more!
04/10/2026: Castle in a wooded park. Excellent meal prepared by a passionate cook. Simple but very comfortable and pleasant rooms.

02/09/2026: Discovered by chance today. Friendly, quick, and smiling service. I recommend the €15.90 set menu with gizzard salad, cassoulet (served piping hot), and two scoops of ice cream. I highly recommend this place.
01/09/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant during our visit to the citadel. Its secluded location, away from the other, very noisy restaurants, and its affordable menu were what attracted us. The food was excellent, as was the homemade sangria. It was very good value for money, with a menu offering three choices of starters, three choices of main courses, and two choices of desserts. And all this with a wonderful welcome. It was perfect.
