La Maison Florent sur Caen

The waiter was incredibly handsome; I made eye contact with him several times throughout the day (yes, I walked by multiple times). Please help me find him; he was so handsome, and I even smiled at him at the end of the day, if that helps in locating him.

I don't understand the bad reviews for this bakery. Always a warm welcome with a smile! Personally, it's my favorite Caen tradition, and their pastries are very good and generously portioned. A special mention for their croissants, which, for the past week or two, have been truly excellent and full of butter, as have their pain au chocolat. There's been a clear improvement, even though they were already good before. I admit I haven't tried any sandwiches or desserts, but from what I know, it's a 5/5.

Few satisfied customers leave reviews, so I'm doing it. In terms of value for money, the bar is set high. We're always amazed by the size of the Pépitos and the maxi pain au chocolat—they're so big and delicious. You can tell everything is homemade. Sandwiches can be remade upon request, before a certain time. Special mention for the Pépito and the brookie!

It's always a pleasure to come every morning for breakfast. Beyond the warm welcome and kindness of Angélique and her team, the products are good, fresh, and of high quality. Whether it's for a lunch break, an afternoon snack, fresh bread, or to buy chocolates, this is an address not to be missed in Caen.

I eat and have my coffee at Florent's every day. Everything is delicious, and the service is incredibly friendly. It's always a real pleasure to go there. The coconut macaroons are simply amazing!
