La Maison Milliere sur Dijon

An unusual place, with a small shop inside selling local crafts. A very cute tea room and good coffee!

We had lunch in this very pleasant tea room, we had a wonderful time and we highly recommend it!!

We visited the shop section of this intriguing place, which resembled an old tavern filled with little treasures. The owner gave us a very warm welcome, explaining the symbolism of the owl in Dijon, and we had a lovely chat. He makes, among other things, small objects and jewelry using dried flowers. A wonderful experience, thank you.

Located in one of Dijon's oldest buildings, Maison Millière is a cozy spot where locals and tourists mingle. The food is simple but delicious. You can enjoy a meal, coffee or tea, a beer, a glass of wine, homemade pastries, and more. The selection is quite varied. The setting is beautiful and authentic. The half-timbered house, dating from the second half of the 15th century, is truly stunning. It was one of the filming locations for Cyrano de Bergerac, starring Gérard Depardieu. Its beautiful, intricately carved timber-framed facade is briefly visible in an exterior scene. Originally a shop, it still bears the intertwined initials of its first owners, two Gs, engraved above the door. Don't forget the cat and the owl on the roof. The shop itself is also worth a visit, especially for its handcrafted miniature marquetry creations made from precious woods.

The must-visit spot in Dijon for all lovers of history and gastronomy! This restaurant will charm you with its beautiful walls, its typically medieval character, and its delicious cuisine. And let's not forget the bar area where homemade mulled wine perfectly complements the local grape varieties! To take a seat within these 15th-century walls is to sit on the benches of a historical monument, alongside Cyrano de Bergerac... A word to the wise!

Superb and unique setting, the Viennese chocolates are delicious. Service was a little slow due to the serving hatch, but we were warned. I loved the unusual paintings by local artists :) A lovely experience!

Beautiful setting not far from the owl, it's great, excellent Liège chocolate, the shop is atypical.

Very authentic, friendly service, nice seating area upstairs with old timber beams. There is a large selection of drinks and some light meals such as crêpes or cakes.

On the Owl Trail, unmissable sights include the house with its animals to discover on the rooftop.

Very original. The restaurant has cookbooks that you can photocopy. You can also play games, including chess.
