It's always a pleasure to dine at La Mare aux Canards: the service is always lovely and attentive, the starter chips are perfect, and the food is delicious. And during a heatwave, being in the forest is pure bliss!

The service was very attentive and genuinely kind. A good restaurant if you like meat. The profiteroles were giant and quite good for dessert. This year they made the effort to add a vegetable dish to the menu, but it was elaborate and cooked by someone who still doesn't like vegetables. I didn't finish it.

The setting is very nice but the prices are quite high for what is served and the quality isn't really there (small duck breast and dry French toast).

1/4 roasted duck and chicken were fantastic. Served with actually good frites, which are so very rare in France. Great location surrounded by nature with friendly and attentive serveurs. Thanks!

There were five of us adults. Everything went very well. The food was excellent, the staff very friendly, and there was no wait. In short, a very enjoyable family outing.

Table reserved online. We had requested a patio table, but it was refused because they had chosen not to serve the patio area. Very nice, casual atmosphere, and reasonably priced food. Excellent value for money. The only downside is the wait in your car because it doesn't open until noon... so there's not even a place to stop for a coffee, a snack, or prepare for a meeting.

02/04/2026: A plunge into the golden age of French brasseries, with period furniture and decor. Franco, who served us, is a delightful person, thoughtful, discreet, and attentive. A place with real soul, real humanity. Simple dishes, revisited with finesse, generous and refined; delicious homemade bread! They even cook your rib-eye steaks over the fireplace (and without any smell!). All at a more than reasonable price! A haven of peace and kindness, all too rare! Go and recharge your batteries!
