The food was very good. The service was very average.
The waiter was aggressive when we told him we didn't want a bottle of wine, only glasses. He laughed when we asked for a dish with only vegetables and fries due to a dietary restriction, replying, "Not even a little bit of good mountain cheese!" He was verbally aggressive when we asked for the menu back from the table.
And to top it all off, he added €1 to each of our dishes when we paid and tried to charge €9 instead of the €4 listed on the menu for a glass of wine.

Excellent fondue. We were a little disappointed with the atmosphere and service, which had been much better in less expensive restaurants.

Didn't really enjoy eating here. We ordered raclette and we only got some meat and potatoes with it. We would've liked a lot more variety in vegetables to go with our raclette. Also the space was far too small. We were with a group of 6.

Simply the best restaurant in Risoul 1850! We visited La Marmite twice last week, the fondue is to die for and everything else others were eating looked just as good. They even accommodated us especiaily for Valentine's day, great place, great food, great people.

Here is an honest review from gen z tourists- one of the BEST places we have ever been!!!!
Walked in at arround 20:30-21:00 without a reservation and managed to sit in a completely full restaurant. The food is out of this world, best raclette with a full chese cut machine, amazing tartiflette and meet fondu in red wine. Highly reccomend, will defenetly go back here.

A lovely little traditional restaurant in a ski resort, absolutely fantastic! Typical dishes (raclette, fondue, pierrade with 1, 2, or 3 meats). There were six of us, and the traditional dishes are served in portions of two per person.
I loved the homemade porcini mushroom sauce with the pierrade (delicious)!
I highly recommend stopping by —> and making a reservation!
