La Mère Michèle sur Sauzon

On vacation in Belle Île for a short week, we ate 4 times in this crêperie. It was very good, the owner is very welcoming. The savory or sweet crêpes are delicious. I recommend it.

We were there on September 19, 2025. Small creperie with a beautiful terrace. Good crepes, lamb from a beautiful island, friendly and not expensive. Local cider. No-frills restaurant, top-notch

Fast service, even though the waitress was the only one in the room, and she kept a smile on her face 😃 On the other hand, the dessert crepes were a bit light for the price. The lamb is very good, worth stopping in for a treat.

Having been to many creperies, we can say that these are at the top of the pile. They are excellent, especially the andouille egg cheese pancake. I recommend it!

Excellent crêperie. The crêpes are thin and crispy. Mère Michèle uses local produce and is very well prepared. The setting is pleasant and the service is fast. We are always welcomed with a smile. Also, for someone who has many food intolerances, they are very attentive.

Frankly, I find the negative reviews a bit harsh. Fabienne welcomed us very warmly, the galettes were excellent, the presentation was decent, and that's not what I'm looking for when I eat at a casual restaurant like this. If you're a big eater like me, I recommend ordering two galettes; the price will barely reach €20-25 per dish, which is about the price of a meal at any other restaurant. In short, we had a great time and hope that little cat Roger's health improves!

There are two of them and they're full of energy. So maybe go there when it's quieter. I felt like I was at my grandmother's house, we didn't worry and we enjoyed crepes like at home with an incredible view. Maybe they could fill them a little more, that's true. But it was wonderful to pass by after a lot of hiking. Thank you :))
