We stopped by on a whim, without any particular expectations, and the atmosphere was excellent, the owner very friendly, the platters (and especially the fries!) very good. And above all, a good selection of beer ☺️

One Sunday, with empty stomachs and a heavy heart, we walked through the doors of L'Alchimiste… a Savoyard burger and a pint later, I started to believe in tomorrow again. 😇🍔🍺 That feeling of floating, triggered by digestion kick-starting the engine and a gustatory satisfaction like you dream of after a slightly over-enthusiastic night out. I'll be back without hesitation, if possible under the same circumstances.

Excellent restaurant in Old Lyon! We had dinner there last night. The dishes were delicious and generously portioned. Our server was charming and very professional; her slight accent added a lovely touch to the experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this establishment.

22/10/2025: It's so cozy, it feels like only locals frequent it!! Regular customers help you order, and the atmosphere is comfortable 🥰 Even if you order a cocktail that's not on the menu, they'll whip it up for you, even if it's not perfect. Ambiance and convenience, a little help is often made for the usual crowds! A customer who really cares about their ordering process is so sympathetic 🥰 And one of the cocktails I didn't ask for on the menu was ready in the moment—it's perfect, but I like the color, and it's how I make it so charming.
02/10/2025: Great little restaurant with a warm welcome. The food is really good! The service is fast, especially for the daily special, and the desserts are perfectly made and delicious. A place to remember for a good quality meal.

18/03/2026: Very convenient for students as it's only two minutes from the university. Ninkasi remains a reliable choice for its burgers and beers.
10/03/2026: I love going to Ninkasi, especially since the owner and servers are very attentive when you have a problem. I recommend the burger with barbecue sauce and fries—yum!—but not the hot chocolate…
