We had a wonderful time, both the atmosphere and the food were fantastic! (Homemade!) The service was quick and very friendly! (Smiling, etc.) Great atmosphere ;)

Great find in St-Jean : amazing burgers, great staff and great beers! Cedric and Errold, the owners, were absolute darlings and made our time there a real treat! We definitely recommend The Alchemist!

Thanks to the waiter with the beard and the green striped t-shirt. The service was very pleasant despite our late arrival. This man served us water at superhuman speed and has an impressive knee-operated skill for opening bottles. I highly recommend him!

A quaint burger joint with friendly staff and an interesting selection of burgers, a wide variety of beers, and an overall relaxed atmosphere. The prices were also reasonable.

A fantastic place for conviviality and sharing. Although, honestly, I would never share a plate this good 🤣 A huge thank you to the team, and especially to the chef who does an exceptional job. You literally travel through the food. It's almost like being in an American movie! I highly recommend it. Proof of that is that I didn't leave a single crumb.

17/04/2026: I'm new to the neighborhood and, while walking past, I saw some great food. I thought I had to try it. I wasn't disappointed: it's a small neighborhood restaurant that serves delicious dishes. I had the hand-chopped steak tartare. It was divine, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it.

18/04/2026: Really tasty coffee in a beautiful location!
17/04/2026: It was a real treat to get a decent flat white at Puzzle cafe, so much so that we have returned every day we’ve been in Lyon. The outdoor seating has a fabulous view of ancient ruins and the Basilica of Notre Dame de Fourvière. The team speak English and are warm and friendly. It’s the perfect place to relax on a sunny afternoon.
