La Patate sur Bayonne

A truly exceptional gastronomic experience. From the very first bite, the grilled sardine with garlic and black citrus set the tone: a perfect balance of intensity and freshness. The journey continued with a perfectly cooked roasted hake, enhanced by a txakoli beurre blanc and the subtle bitterness of the bell pepper and zucchini duo. Pure bliss. To top it all off, the peach Melba for dessert provided a touch of wonderful sweetness. A must-visit restaurant where every dish is a masterpiece.

We'll be back to Déjà-vu for the food, the service, and the atmosphere! The owners are absolute sweethearts who know their stuff perfectly: a delightful welcome, mouthwatering cuisine, and an atmosphere that starts out warm and ends up electrifying! Bravo for what you offer, we'll be back and hopefully have a similar feeling to Déjà-vu!

An excellent spot! The food is homemade, featuring superb fresh ingredients prepared by a true chef, all at an unbeatable price. The service is quick and very friendly. We particularly enjoyed the lovely selection of natural wines, as well as the unique decor: a clever mix of carefully sourced vintage items and original touches, furnished with remarkable taste and true to the owners' personality. Special mention goes to the second part of the evening, starting at 10 pm, when the place transforms into a bar with a DJ. It's the perfect place to party and have fun, while also being very well thought out for families (we came with our 2-year-old daughter and our 8-year-old nephew, and everyone had a great time!). We've already planned our next visit for a karaoke night that promises to be unforgettable!

I highly recommend this place! I went back for dinner in July, while passing through Bayonne, and I wasn't disappointed! The bonito and the crumble were fabulous! It's simply a wonderful culinary and friendly experience! Jade and James are incredibly attentive, and the food is delicious! Thank you both! I'll be back!!
