Very good and fresh food – big kudos to the chef. The restaurant is close to the train station and the cable car. Service is okay. The waitress approached us after about 20 minutes, so nothing special, but she was nice and eventually served us.

We came to eat at this brasserie and I highly recommend stopping by if you're passing through Le Fayet. The service is top-notch and the food is perfect. Thank you again, we'll be back!

I've been to La Pause brasserie several times, for a morning coffee or lunch. I love this friendly place where regulars mingle with passersby, backpacks and suitcases in tow, returning from a mountain hike or waiting for their train home. You feel welcomed by a friendly and energetic team. You feel valued, even on your first visit, and that's priceless. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The dishes were delicious, carefully prepared, and full of flavor. We received a very warm welcome from the owner and the entire team, who were friendly, attentive, and highly professional. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We went during our lunch break. We received a very warm welcome from the staff. The waitresses were fantastic, energetic, and very friendly, always smiling. Our meal was delicious and generous. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

08/07/2026: Nice place to eat. But the service leaves much to be desired; they don't ask if everything is alright, and the frozen potatoes are tasteless. The plate is a bit pricey for the quality; you're paying for the view.
07/07/2026: Lovely mountain hut on the ski slope with great views over the Mont Blanc Massif. After many a mountain climbed in summer and skied in winter, this one has to be one of if not my favourite. Open all year round with a great selection of products. Seemingly family run with people who really care about their customers. Sitting area surrounded by beautiful alpine wildflowers. Access by walking down the gravel service track for a 100m or so from the top of the Bettex. We were offered cheese from a local farm free of charge. The views are incredible - you can ask for binoculars and will be able to see all the way from Mont Blanc to Aiguille du Tour, Aiguille de Chardonnet and Aiguille Verte. If you are passing anywhere in the vicinity I would recommend a trip to Sous les Freddy.

Hotel Arbois-Bettex Restaurant

30/03/2026: A very pleasant surprise! The hotel is comfortable and well-maintained. The two people at reception are very helpful and always smiling. A nice bonus was the sauna after a day of skiing.
30/03/2026: The hotel is perfectly located at the foot of the slopes, with a friendly and very welcoming staff. The view of Mont Blanc from the breakfast room is magnificent. We had an excellent stay thanks to the team and the thoughtful touches in our room (pastries, water, toiletries, etc.). We will gladly return!
