A lovely café in Alsace with homemade cake. Friendly owner and a meeting place for the locals.

We had a quick lunch at this place. We ordered savory tarts. They were good, but the portion was a bit small. An eighth of a tart served with a bagged salad and a store-bought dressing for 13 euros! For dessert, we had a Black Forest cake and a compote tart. Judging by the temperature of the compote and the soggy crust, it was definitely defrosted. But at 6.5 euros a slice, it came to 52 euros for two people. Really too expensive for what we ate. The service, however, was very friendly and the decor was nice.

Lovely little cafe also serving tarts and quiche. Celine, the owner is very kind and accommodating. We didn’t eat here but everything looks great.

A small café with friendly staff. The cake selection changes constantly, but the cakes are always homemade. We spontaneously stopped there for a break and loved it.
