Simple but effective. A family atmosphere, just what we're looking for. The food is simple, certainly, but well-prepared. Sometimes you don't need to look any further. We were able to watch the match. Yousef and his wife will give you a proper welcome. Thank you for this break; we really needed it.

A quick stop at 12 for a drink after climbing Bugarrach. Very friendly welcome, the owner quickly and comfortably seated us, and our orders were promptly served on the lovely terrace.

I confirm the previous reviews: a little gem in the heart of the peaceful village of Couiza... you are welcomed into a family atmosphere and... the Schweppes is served with a slice of lemon and a strawberry: what a thoughtful touch! THANK YOU for this lovely place!!!!

I highly recommend this restaurant, which I discovered by chance. The food is excellent and all-you-can-eat for the modest price of €19.90. The place is unique, with paintings by the owner and a sculpted beam serving as a chandelier. I also think they have karaoke nights.

Discovered by chance during our motorcycle ride, this restaurant confirms the saying "some things happen for a reason." Very welcoming, reasonably priced, and all-you-can-eat buffet, the food is good and there's plenty of choice—what more could you ask for? We're noting the address and will definitely return when we're in the area.

19/05/2026: A 500 year old chateau/castle, with spiral stairs up the towers, stone walls in your room, and other fantastic ancient charm. Staff goes above and beyond to help everyone with requests. Fine dining restaurant on site and kudos to the chef for great meals every meal. Chateau is alongside a rapid stream and across from a petonque court, where locals gather. The sleepy village is charming with nice hill views.
18/05/2026: A fantastic renovation of a wonderful building. Food excellent and rooms also. An extremely relaxing place.

16/07/2026: What a shame about our second visit! We were disappointed with the daily special; it was a tartiflette with too much cheese, very salty, and the cheese was too old, not enough potatoes. And being in the restaurant business, I know what I'm talking about. Furthermore, we were given to understand that we shouldn't wait too long because the chef had finished a while ago. The starter was good and fresh, though, as was the dessert.
15/07/2026: Savoy in the Aude Valley A superb, warm, and truly delicious restaurant. A set menu with starter, main course, and dessert is available for €15, as well as an à la carte menu. Generous portions are served with a smile. The decor is simple but perfectly suited to the setting; everything is made of wood, including the structure. You feel like you're in a Savoyard chalet. Definitely an address to remember. Terrace, free parking. The owners are very welcoming.
