La Petite Adresse sur Besancon

Excellent food, great atmosphere. French cuisine.

That was probably our last lunch at the legendary La Petite Adresse! A restaurant with a personal touch, the likes of which you won't find anywhere else! Warm atmosphere, very pleasant setting, excellent cuisine with a limited menu (which is a guarantee of quality!). Thank you for the wonderful moments and memories you've given us! Besançon without La Petite Adresse wouldn't be Besançon anymore! Happy retirement!

A very warm welcome, delicious food, and a great atmosphere

It seems that Audiard himself said of this place in 1962, "Gourmets say it's a brothel, and perverts call it a Chinese restaurant." Legend has it that the town was built around this restaurant; I don't really believe it, but every legend has a grain of truth. It's the oldest "beuzak" restaurant, run by the same owner, opened back when Rue Claude Pouillet was a dangerous place, and when the dashing young Pierrot, like a street vendor, would pick up his customers with his smooth talk from the Place de la Révolution to the crowded restaurants. They've all come and gone, but he remains. I went there at 16, I'm almost 50 now, and I'd like to have Marco Ferreri's "La Grande Bouge" there (I'm going to ask for a quote) 😁. And only two things have changed: I have more hair, and he's lost weight. This won't help you much in deciding if it's a good restaurant, but rest assured it was a beautiful story, a gem of history, one of the rare places where you can eat tripe with Morbier cheese while humming Piaf. Highly recommended. The Morbier lasagna was molten, kind of like lava, you know what I mean? (Because it was piping hot, but delicious). You'll eat your fill, but also enough to feed a few others, the portions are so generous. The owner is super friendly and tells jokes. NB: I didn't take any pictures during the meal, but here's a picture of me taking a nap afterward.

A unique restaurant, where you feel right at home with friends. The menu is simple: salad and terrine/rillettes. Pierre brings the trays and baguettes, and we help ourselves. After paying for the loaded tray, we tuck into the large plate of Morbier lasagna, which warms you right up! Everything was delicious, and we truly enjoyed spending the evening with Pierre serving. It's a shame it's ending soon, but we can't blame him; you have to stop sometime. We'll be back before then to enjoy it a little longer and prolong the experience! The Nurses' Group!

Le Petit Adres is truly the best French dining experience I’ve ever had. The restaurant feels incredibly authentic, from the atmosphere to the walls, and everything reflects genuine old French charm. The owner is also extremely friendly, which makes the whole experience even more welcoming and personal. An absolute must‑visit for anyone who loves real French cuisine.

The restaurant, like the owner, is still in tune with the times. We had a good laugh and a great meal while listening to Tata Yoyo's music. Good value for money. Thank you.

We discovered this little restaurant during a weekend in Besançon. We had a very good meal, the setting is lovely, and the owner is very pleasant. We highly recommend it. If we return to Besançon, we will definitely come back here.
