We ate very well. The facade doesn't look like much, but don't hesitate to push the door! We had 2 tartes flambées which were excellent! The lady who served us was very friendly, however the chef should shut up... pleasant with us but very unpleasant with the waitress, we hear her complaining non-stop in her kitchen alone, it's okay at first but we get over it of 30min we were fed up!! A word of advice for the waitress: close the kitchen door and play music in the room to drown out the chef's untimely mutterings.
Where our steps lead to Little Alsace, certainly a restaurant in its own right and a cook with good banter, but hey, are we not there to judge a way of cooking, we ate well and it was very good and very well served
Very friendly little restaurant, very good, generous cuisine as the Alsatians know how to do so well. The service is well done, they let us take our time (they don't bring us the dishes with the aperitif). The only downside is that we hear the chef moaning a little too much! A word of advice, book before going there.
We discovered this restaurant yesterday and we were won over by both the rustic decor and the very pleasant welcome. We ate an excellent meal. This is a change from the usual tables. In short, a real pleasure 👏.
