One of the best restaurants in the area

As regulars at this restaurant, it's usually one of those we consider a "safe bet." We came for lunch on Monday, and it's the first time I've been disappointed. We ordered the salmon tartare with avocado as a main course. It's clearly not meant to be a starter, as the portions were woefully inadequate, the avocado was practically nonexistent, and the waiter hadn't mentioned it beforehand. Three tiny cubes of avocado barely scraping by with some cucumber, a bland tartare, served with fries. Nothing about this dish was right. A delivery issue can happen, but when you pay €22 for avocado, you don't expect cucumber. I'll come back, but not to order a starter as a main course, and we'll ask the waiter if the plate will be complete or not.

Excellent, everything was perfect

We had a wonderful time. From start to finish, everything was perfect. Friendly welcome, lots of choice, fresh and excellent products. A real treat.

The little inn truly lives up to its name. A very pleasant and cozy place, delicious and generous dishes, and welcoming, attentive staff. We will definitely return to try other dishes. Well done to the innkeeper!

So, the reviews are almost unanimous: the food is very good, etc.... For my part, I found the restaurant cozy and the service impeccable, but the food was very, very average. I didn't enjoy it at all; it was okay, nothing more. I admit I'm disappointed; I expected much better. There were four of us, and the other diners said, "It's alright."... That's all.

Looking for a restaurant and not a canteen, in the Sarreguemines area, after a search on TripAdvisor, my choice fell on this restaurant, I was really not disappointed, the warm setting, the top staff, the welcome, the menu renewed monthly, the quality of the dishes, local produce, the service, the price, a friendly clientele, nothing to complain about, to such an extent that I go there once a week, it is worth the detour but it is preferable to book as it is almost always full.
