It was a real pleasure to return to La Petite Auberge after a few months' absence! A regular customer for several years, I'm never disappointed. The setting is magnificent, and the welcome is always so warm and attentive. As for the food, it's excellent: flavorful cuisine showcasing local produce, with a menu that changes monthly according to the seasons. A must-visit in Sarreguemines!

One of the best restaurants in the area

As regulars at this restaurant, it's usually one of those we consider a "safe bet." We came for lunch on Monday, and it's the first time I've been disappointed. We ordered the salmon tartare with avocado as a main course. It's clearly not meant to be a starter, as the portions were woefully inadequate, the avocado was practically nonexistent, and the waiter hadn't mentioned it beforehand. Three tiny cubes of avocado barely scraping by with some cucumber, a bland tartare, served with fries. Nothing about this dish was right. A delivery issue can happen, but when you pay €22 for avocado, you don't expect cucumber. I'll come back, but not to order a starter as a main course, and we'll ask the waiter if the plate will be complete or not.
