Spontaneity, a natural and very friendly welcome from the owner (and his brother too, of course). As for the food, we thoroughly enjoyed two excellent and generous Ariège-style tartiflettes. The local beer is delicious as well, by the way. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back; the sheltered, sunny terrace was a truly peaceful and pleasant spot.

The only positive point was the waiter, who was lovely. Otherwise, avoid it at all costs! I was sick after the meal, and so was my partner. Their products aren't fresh, the cheese was microwaved... and the prices are far too high for the quality. I definitely don't recommend it! 👎🏼

A casual meal with friends. The food was delicious, the service exceptionally friendly. We were served very quickly, the food was homemade and very refined. I highly recommend it, and I will definitely be back!

A fantastic stop in Ax-les-Thermes this Easter Monday. The food was excellent, all homemade: fries, desserts (citrus crema catalana and French toast...!!), as well as good quality meats. The terrace has both sunny and shaded areas to suit all tastes.

12/05/2026: We had a wonderful evening at Le Comptoir. The food was excellent, homemade, and the service and atmosphere were perfect. We have absolutely no complaints and highly recommend it.
