02/04/2024: Very pleasant, especially as you fall asleep to the sound of the river.
25/03/2024: Warm hotel in the center of all amenities. Right next to the river and a pretty wooded park. Very friendly welcome. Pretty, functional and clean room. Possibility of reserving 1 hour in a private jacuzzi with a lovely view of the park.
Restaurant with unique menu, very good meal.
Breakfasts vary with homemade products. I recommend!!

02/04/2024: On the way back from vacation, we stopped at this establishment.
A warm brasserie, with seats inside but also on the terrace.
Brasserie cuisine, simple, hearty, and very good.
The salad at the counter was very generous! The burger counter also, toasted bread with good homemade fries and excellent meat and cheese inside.
A little disappointed, however, by the dessert of the day, the tarte tatin which arrived cold and without any crunch (no puff pastry or crunchy biscuits at the bottom), too bad.
The staff is smiling, pleasant, efficient. The boss is friendly and asks you if you have eaten well and thanks you and greets you when you leave, which is nice.
It’s a good address on Ax!

09/09/2023: Restaurant run by a couple, the waitress and manager cannot stand criticism. Foie gras paid with a supplement that was too salty and not denerved. Dish cooked like at home, supposedly tagine style but where were the dried fruits… maybe because it was served with semolina. Some poorly cooked pieces of chicken, raw inside.
Very good chocolate mousse dessert served in small canning jars except that the metal part is all rusty
You will judge for yourself last but not least the cleanliness... dirty toilets the restaurant room deserves a good cleaning!!!!
20/08/2023: Very cute spot in Ax. It’s off the main road, and has tables outside which make it very calm. The food was really good, and they have a set menu for 25€, veggie menus for 17€ which is good! Would recommend for a nice quiet Frenchie dinner in Ax.

24/03/2024: Good evening, I want to keep it short, I have rarely eaten in such a good restaurant. For my part, I didn't go to the hotel but only to the restaurant and the cuisine is just crazy. The dishes are super good, consistent, homemade and the price is fair. Honestly, if there’s a restaurant in Ax you have to go to, it’s definitely this one. On top of that, the staff was super nice. I highly recommend. I repeat that the dishes are incredibly good.
13/03/2024: Very disappointed with this restaurant where I came this summer with family and where we were not disappointed but here it's the opposite.
This week 1h30 wait to have a unique dish all because my dish is a la carte and not in a menu...so my partner was served before me because he had a menu, meal all staggered we didn't even have our dishes together 😕.
The children's menu stipulates a starter, a main course, an ice cream is good but the cold starter (ham/rosette) served with the main course (chopped fries) on the same plate we didn't understand.
Not very filling adult dish.

09/03/2024: Family restaurant where you are well received. The homemade fries are excellent, the mountain formulas keep their promises...
Smiling waiter, pleasant despite the crowd and very complicit with the bar and the kitchen.
It's smooth sailing, it's calm between them, there's no waiting, neither for us, nor for the others from what I observe!
We hadn't booked a Saturday evening, they found a place for us without us feeling like an extra charge!
I recommend ++++

18/01/2024: This restaurant is definitely worth doing, the staff are very welcoming and available.
Homemade and delicious meal! The quantities are very generous, I regret not having been able to taste the desserts because I had more space. But I will go back because it was delicious. Very good address! I recommend it to you with your eyes closed.

05/04/2024: A first for me in the region, at Ax and La Petite Fringale. The address is unmissable, a must-do. Colorful and positive musical atmosphere, a place that couldn't be more personalized and delicious and generous cuisine, really. I set my sights on the Ariégeoise tartiflette which is a little killer and a fabulous chocolate mousse even though I am not fond of desserts.
Don’t hesitate, book and enjoy a friendly and gourmet moment.
Thanks to the friendly and efficient waiter and the team behind the scenes who really deliver.

You cannot pay by card.
23/02/2024: We ordered 3 dishes which were served on a staggered basis and my wife had a duck with pineapple and it was just disgusting, the sauce tasted like vinegar and the meat tasted raw. I didn't eat anything. And the property leaves something to be desired, to be avoided

09/08/2023: I did not eat there following an unpleasant welcome linked to a request for a reservation on the terrace. The creperie definitely closes at the end of the week... from what I understand...
Answer. You must be confused. You told me that you don't reserve for 1 p.m. outside and that in any case: I quote: ''Anyway... when we tell customers that there is no place on the terrace they leave elsewhere !! To this I told you no worries.. I was in no way unpleasant.. On the contrary, very surprised by your reaction. It's not serious. To see the other opinions I am not the only one

05/03/2024: Excellent cuisine. Clean restaurant, friendly and professional staff, but the wait is long at peak times, and the planks of the terrace break underfoot...a few efforts and they will be on top!
