We had a blast! The service was perfect and the dishes homemade. The view of Lake Chambon is the icing on the cake.

This restaurant IS the right address!
The products are fresh, the dishes refined and the presentation sophisticated. Everything is homemade, right down to the little cake that comes with the coffee.
The team is great, the chef is very available. We feel the good atmosphere!!
This establishment is open all year round, unlike other “tourist traps” in the area....

In many ways, the critic's task is easy. We do not risk much, and yet we enjoy a position of superiority compared to those who submit with their work to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism that is fun to write and read. But the bitter truth, which we must face, is that in the grand scheme of things, the most mediocre dish undoubtedly has more value than the criticism which denounces it as such. However, there are circumstances where the critic takes a real risk: it is when he discovers and defends innovation. The world is often malicious towards new talents and creation. The new guy needs friends. Last night, I had a unique experience. I tasted an extraordinary dish of a singular origin if ever there was one. To say that his dish and its creator radically changed my idea of great cuisine would be an understatement. They shook me to the depths of my being. I have never made a secret of the contempt that Bernard L'Oiseau's motto inspired in me: "Everyone can cook."
But it's only today, only today, that I really understand what he meant. Not everyone can become a great artist. But a great artist can emerge anywhere. It is difficult to imagine a more modest origin than that of the genius who now works at the little beach and who is, in our eyes, nothing less than the greatest chef in France. I will return there soon, hungrier than ever.

Very pleasant little motorbike break.
The view is superb.
All the staff were lovely and really listened to me.
The pancakes are a real delight.

En ballade sur le lac chambon , notre déjeuner à été agréable avec un belle vue sur le lac chambon et montagnes environnantes.
Les plats sont bien présentés et le service agréable .
Mais qq détails améliorables : pas de couteau à steak pour le rumsteack, écrasé de pomme de terre avec amidon prononcé (mouliné?), ananas passion très (trop) acide.
Un moment sympathique qui pourrait être encore meilleur!
